LiAnn is a hair and makeup artist from San Francisco who specializes in bridal, pageants, lifestyle, and editorial work. She began her career with Alistmakeup, one of the top bridal teams in the bay area and was trained by Ann Ho. LiAnn also freelanced for NARS cosmetics and is a licensed cosmetologist.

 

LiAnn believes her artistic abilities came from her father's side of the family; whom her father and uncles' were respected caligraphers and artists. Although talented and passionate about her makeup artistry, LiAnn focused on finishing her B.A at San Francisco State University and worked in the Early Childhood Education field for 3 years before pursuing hair and makeup as a full time career.

 

LiAnn had the honor to be her sister's hair and makeup artist in 2009 for a gorgeous Napa Wedding at the Carneros Inn. This was LiAnn's very first wedding gig. With no formal training at the time and no bridal trial, she did a thorough consulation, sat her sister down calmly and began working right away. Her sister was a natural beauty and the transformation was a breeze. Her features were enhanced with just the right amount of makeup and her hair half up half down flowing with soft elegant curls. Everyone complimented on how beautiful the bride looked and wondered who was the hair and makeup artist. At that very moment, LiAnn knew this was the field for her.

 

As a passionate hair and makeup artist, LiAnn continues to educate herself with the latest trends and products by attending hair and makeup workshops.
